    I know CP helicopters are nasty above 150 to 250 size, so whats the best helicopter for a kid who is really enthusiastic about flying and wants to be just like dad? My son can hover on the sim quite well..

      This kudos learnt on a Blade Nana CPX.. Cheap, crashes well and can fly indoor and out...

      Why not buddy box with him until he get's the feel of flying. Personally, I wish I would have started with something bigger than a 450.

      Syma 107G. Cheap, stable, acces to parts. Good as first indoor heli for small children. Check videos on U2B.
