Hi all, so which XT connector do you guys prefer/use for the Goby 380? I know the xt60 looks to be the obvious choice here but.....
I'm moving away from Deans that I've been using for so long, hated how hard it was to connect n disconnect a pack. Also dun think it'll hold up to the 380 current draw.

Thats a XT90 equivalent right? Looking this 380 is even bigger than the 450L, I'm just pondering a bigger connector to handle burst current better.

depends on the motor, if the motor pulls more than 60A I'd opt for XT90. Again check your motor specs for burst current and get the appropriate connector.

Yea agreed, but this motor is rated 45A n peak at 70A so it's a borderline decision. I guess it depends heavily on flight styles too, ain't gonna hit peak current to much just doing light stuff.

Recommend moving away from XT connectors, EC5 very common, Castle Green 6.5's are good (I use 550 size and up), now thinking of upgrading to RC Pro Plus for the bigger helis.

I started with XT60's & XT90's but found them a little average after a little while, and not as good to solder as the bullet in case style connectors.

Never had problems soldering XT, deans n xt is the common connectors here ec harder to come by but gaining some ground. Whats the verdict on xt in terms of durability?
