I dont think you can go wrong with either. Its all personal preference really. I have seen the 6hv smak around really well. They handle pretty much anything you can throw at them. The goblin 570 is a beast as well. 12s at 570 size... its just so powerful and flies very nicely. So it really is not a hard decision - either one of these are a great buy IMO.

 

Hi mate, I have owned a 6hv ULT for a while now.
Considering the difference in $ I would get the 6HV ULTIMATE, thats a lot of spare coin to dish out on electronics.
How does it fly? Its like a Swiss knife, extremely precise and agile many say it flys better than a logo. Not sure as I haven't flown one but looking at the difference on paper

6HV UL all set NO PACKS = 2.78kg + canopy
LOGO 600sx all set NO PACKS = 2.64kg + canopy

With that said the 6hv ULT is a more rigid machine. It can also handle super low RPM to a mental 2400rpm.

The heli has been maintenance free which also features a belt tensioner, your belt will last hundreds of flights. I have had about 4 crashes on this model, a couple of them being pretty bad I have never had to replace any frames (which has split frames) or swash. Wack a 50006s and you have a 550. Awesome in low rpm, super smooth and quite. It features the super strong 700 size tail from the chronos, awesome holding power.

The stock blades are so well suited for this model its not funny, it has some hang time!

As far as parts, you wont be left behind with Deans support.

The stock motor with the 10 tooth pinion is great for big air 3d , but for smack get the 11 tooth pinion.

I think money for value the 6hv uilimate is all and more then I need for my skill level after reading what you had to say about them and watching video . One more question is there good spare parts support here in Australia?

 

Spare parts is superb, there is a heap of these out there. Dean (redgum) does a great job with stock levels, one reason I switched from Align 3 years ago. P.S I love align as a heli but couldnt get all the parts I wanted from one shop, I got everything from O/S.

P.S I have a 120 amp ESC on mine, this is total overkill. The 80 amp is more than enough.
