I`m so glad they got another chance over here. They are great helicopters, and hopefully they will do well now.

 

They look like a nice unit .. I see Dieter from rc heli nation now fly's them .. and the guys give them a good rap ..

 

I have seen them at a few fun flies over here, and they were very impressive. Built to survive a crash too...very beefy airframe and a 14mm main shaft if I remember right.

 

Funny this is posted , I have been looking at these, as i heard about them on rc heli nation, pitty as im in Australia and shipping might be a bit high from the USA not to mention parts support.

We will be at the Othello Fun Fly next weekend, along with Team Pilot Deater. We have 100% parts support for the MD5, MD6, MD7 and MD8 and we are not going anywhere anytime soon or ever for that matter!!!

Not sure what the shipping from the US would be, guess it depends on the shipping method, the only way to check would be to add items to the cart and estimate shipping. There are also MD Dealers in Germany, France and Thailand if any of there were a bit closer for shipping cost purposes

15mm is even better. Not going to bend that very easily. When you see Deater, would you tell him I said hi?

 

We are only the US dealer and cannot speak much for outside the US and Canadian regions, only thing I can suggest would be perhaps to contact your local hobby shop and inquire about them stocking them.
