The new update manager fixes a bug with version checking, this will then allow you to download AccuRC version 1.2 and future versions. If you don't use the new download manager it will keep prompting you to update when AccuRC starts.

Please Note, you must uninstall the previous update manager before installing this new one.

AccuRC version 1.3 has been released with various improvements, a new model and scenery. To view the full list of changes please see the support page here. If you have any problems updating you can also download the update patch from here: http://accurc.com/patch_1_3.php

1. Save the AccuRC_1_3.accurcpatch file somewhere on your hard drive and make a note of where it is.
2. Open up the AccuRC Updater program, press the patch button and navigate to the AccuRC_1_3.accurcpatch file.
3. The Updater program will now update your AccuRC simulator to version 1.3.

 

Yes I can confirm there are some improvements, mainly visual and also the new flying field. The physics feel slightly better than they were before. This sim is getting better and better...

 

1.4 Update announced....

AccuRC version 1.4 brings several new improvements and additions; We've added a direct controls mode which allows you to turn off the working control system in flight.

Having no moving controls in flight mode allows AccuRC to run on much lower specification PC's and laptops including dual core processors and lower specification graphics cards, enabling AccuRC's groundbreaking graphics and physics to work without losing all the amazing configuration options and moving controls in workbench.

Also in this update we've brought night flying to your computer with 4 sceneries and 2 models ready for you to switch out the lights and go fly in the dark, something we'll all be doing in the winter months.

Headline New Features

Direct controls mode for lower spec machines - allows the sim to fly without operating the control system.
4 Night flying sceneries (Beaulieu, Burridge, Disused Runway, Private Airfield)
2 Night flying helicopters with over 1,800 fully customisable colour schemes EACH! (Synergy E7, Agile 7.2)
Glow rope random mode - lights flash and change colour whilst you fly - press J to cycle through various options.
