shiz if that bear had of seen him hiding behind the tree I think it would of gotten ugly pretty quick.

They are certainly fast and persistent, that's for sure, was that a gunshot that scared it off at the end?

The bear would have known exactly were he was.. they are predators with ultra keen smell... you can't hide... they would know your there a mile away...

Oh wow, being chased by an Apex Predator like that would definitely get the old adrenal glands working double time. Its amazing how long that bear could run! You would think that it would slow down being so big. Now i can understand how people become victims of bears, you would have no chance against that beasty if he grabbed you...

 

It's not heli related but watching someone almost get killed by a bear is always entertaining...

I dont know if anyone has seen a grizzly close up. They are absolutely huge. You would have no hope if one of these grabbed you. A person would be crushed like alfoil...

 

Also the bike was in good speed. But Bear also ran quick.

 

I say totally fake! First of all no bear noise, I don't care who you are your gonna freak out "oh shiz" then he pedals sitting down, then stops at the branch and hide himself and bike behind a tree as if the bear can't see or smell him? That was pure shiz!

 

Hello guys, I live in Canada, grizzlies don't growl when chasing you for one. Maybe goggle a few grizzly kills first before saying fake. I know of one that was shot and there were four full grown hunters inside of it, to explicit to post but do a search. Also if you know of these types of bears they can smell a human twenty miles away and will hunt him down for lunch no problem. they weigh in at 1200 t0 1600 pounds there not a black bear or something. They can run up to 55 kmph for quite some time. The guy is huffing I don't think he's sitting down, he may have tried to hide in which case the bear would rip him apart, Jasper is the largest game park in Canada and there are park rangers everywhere with guns, I think the guy is one lucky boy to be alive.

Yes i think @simon is right. It looked real to me as well. Scary for sure. Those who live in bear areas in the US and Russia would probably have nightmares over this.
