On August 12-14, there will be an RC aviation expo being held at our local shopping mall. This will happen during national RC aviation week. There will be lectures and classes to cover safety, current regulations and a general introduction to the RC hobby.

There will also be a static model display, so that folks who are interested in the hobby can see the models up close.

There will even be a large screen TV set up with a simulator for those who want to try their hand at flying. We will also be inviting folks to come to the field to get on the buddy box, if they would like to give real time flying a shot.

It has also been requested that I give a seminar on helicopter safety, how to get started with them. I`m pretty excited about it, yet I`m a nervous wreck at the same time. I`m honored that they chose me to do the helicopter end of it, and I hope that I`m up for the task.
