So after a couple of weeks of busy work and home schedules, I finally had the time to test fly the 700 after work before this weekend`s fun fly. Being my first 700, I knew it was going to be a very new experience for me. Especially since all I have flown for the past four years were 600s.

It looks big on the ground, but in the air its enormous. I had a pucker factor times ten on the first spool up and hover and I have to admit.....I was a little intimidated.

On the first flight, my knees felt like rubber and my heart was pounding like a drum. But after that, I started getting to know it a little and started to really enjoy flying it.

I put five flights on it, and then called it a day since it was getting dark . But I was having so much fun, I just wanted to keep flying. I will give it a proper workout this weekend at the helicopter event though, and I`ll tell everyone all about it.
