Hey guys, I did not see a thread on this so I thought I would make one. Tell us about what you carry in your helicopter toolbox when you go to the local club or an event. Mine, is a technician`s box from Home Depot. In the lid,I carry a full set of Scorpion drivers, an assortment of mini pliers, large ball link pliers, and a small plastic ball link pliers, in case I have to work on someone`s 450 or smaller helicopter.
In the bottom compartment, I have an assortment of parts for my TSA and Align helicopters...tail gears, shafts, bearings and stuff like that. Extra fuel tube, fittings, check valves and filters. There is a digital multimeter, digital pitch gauge, and a battery checker. I also have a large assortment of screws in every size I could possibly need. Blade shims, exacto knife set, flashlight, velcro, zip ties, extra link balls, links and link ends and a tube of triflow silicone grease.
The small black box on the left side contains my locktite, scorpion motor oil, link sizing tools, mini files, feathering shaft wrenches, link assembly tools, hemostats, misc. small tools. That`s just what I take to the local field every day. My event box has extra engines, mufflers blades and airframe parts.
