How are these ZEN batteries going with those that are running them?

Great success so far or cells dropping/puff central? Comparable to Gens-Ace?

You know the funny thing is Gens Ace "USED" to be good! I was speaking to an representative from an Asian battery supplier and she told me (after trying to sell me a shipping container full of batteries) that the lead engineer of gens ace was now working for them!. And their quality now is not so good!.. My Gens Ace puffed after not too many flights at all.

 

I have found gens ace to be on the money and worth every cent (I have 6 and 7s packs) - it's a good benchmark - my favorite packs. If Zen packs stack up, we will sing their praises as well. My Gens Ace are as great

My first lot of gens ace were "ace!" My second lot.... not so hot. I can vouch for the ZEN 6s 1450mah packs for the minigob. They have stood up well so far.

 

I'll see how they go, just ordered some ZEN 3300's for my Dune (can't wait to be able to get more flights on the Dune, friggen awesome heli!)

Both my Gens Ace 7s 4400's and 6s 3300's packs have been good for reference.

 

Buy the Zen packs they are good work horse
Packs I have some 1800mah packs I run in my 380 I have run them down to 3% some times and they just keep going with no puffing the set I run in my 700 goblin are still going well after one year and I don't treat them to nice after 200k + speed runs
They just keep going

 

It would be great to try a 12s stick if they are available?

 

And 4400's with another cell or two added....

12s is so "putter about the sky" yesterday... LOL!

 

Zen packs arrived, cycled thru on the charger a few times and now breaking in with light flights.
Will report how they go in time, once they've had a few more easy flights and then after some abuse with my poor collective management
